New Editor Sought for Law Library Journal

From: BECK PETER (LAWPEB@orion.depaul.edu)
Date: 05/24/94

Richard A. Danner, Associate Dean for Library and Computing
Services, Duke University School of Law, will resign as editor of
the Law Library Journal at the end of 1994 after ten years. A
task force to select a new editor has been appointed by AALL
President Kay M. Todd. The task force is being chaired by Mary
Lu Linnane and includes AALL members Richard Danner, Patrick
Kehoe, Scott Pagel, Ann Puckett and Myra Saunders, with Peter
Beck serving as the AALL Headquarters liaison.

Law Library Journal has a long and distinguished place in the
history of the American Association of Law Libraries. The
Association is now at a point where changes are occurring all
around us due to the rapid development of technology. The new
editor will have the opportunity to be part of that environment
of change.

Anyone interested in the editorship of LLJ is encouraged to
submit a resume with a letter of application explaining your
reasons for applying and including all editorial experience. It
is the desire of the task force to interview applicants during
the Annual Meeting in Seattle since the new editor will need to
be in place by the end of the year.

Please send the documentation to Mary Lu Linnane, DePaul Law
Library, 25 E. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60604. Fax: 312/362-
6908, e-mail: lawmll@orion.depaul.edu. If you want more
information about the position call Mary Lu at 312/362-6895.
