We installed our first 7 drive CD-ROM tower yesterday. I have to develop a
method for charging back to clients the use of a very expensive CD-ROM
product--Trademarkscan on DIALOG OnDISC. We want to make the cost less than
online, we never make a profit on searching (GASP--we have never even written
up our Westlaw or Lexis charges), but we also want to be fair.
Is anyone using a scheme or thinking about developing one? I have to come up
with the initial plan today and then shape it into something we can use in a
couple of weeks.
Any ideas are welcome.
