After I saw many of these messages, I finally had a call from my new
local rep.(came into the area apparently some time ago and never bothered
to come over or send her business card). I told her that while I was one of the l
lucky ones (since I had just renewed my full federal & state subscription
through June 1995) I considered the renewal prices ridiculous. While I
would use the CD Rom until my subscription ran out, I would not be
renewing at $6,748
renewing at $6,748. If they wished to reconsider the pricing (substan-
tially downward) I would consider renewing if the price was something
fairly close the the old price. My rep. strongly suggested that I
put my protest in writing to William Beltz, BNA President & Editor-
in-Chief (the individual who signed the cover letter sent with the
notice of format change) and another editor(?), Sally Coulton. Both
or located at 1231 Twenty-fifth St., NW, Washington, DC 20037. I
rarely write complaints, but they shall both hear from me!
