Re: BNA's Environment Reporter

The fact that BNA is continuing to publish the Federal materials and
cases in print, and that they are providing the CD at no extra charge
for the remainder of the current subscription period, and that they
are providing a CD-ROM drive (which, incidentally, appears to have a
street price of about $430, compared to the $740 list-price "retail
value" that BNA quotes) does not address the main issue here:
After one's current subscription has expired, one will be charged
an outrageous amount to keep the state materials up to date on CD!
The complete _BNA's Environment Library on CD_ subscription is almost
twice what we've been charged for the _Environment Reporter_ and
_Chemical Regulation Reporter_. I sure can't think of an acceptible
reason for that.
