I've done it before. I received an anonymous message from a friend who
was testing it out. When you reply (or maybe because you received one)
you get a message back from the anonymous server giving you info on
getting your own password. I did it and set up my alias but, wouldn't you
know, I've forgotten what my alias was and lost my password! I always
thought it would be a good way to discuss those things we weren't
supposed to discuss in public (i.e. Lexis/Westlaw contracts). But ...
the vendors could use that means to get feedback from us as well ...
