Assisted Suicide/Daughters At Work

Here is the information we at Catholic collected on the
assisted suicide recommendations of the Michigan Commission
          on Death & Dying:

There are currently 3 or 4 drafts available, each of a
commissioner's opinion. You can get them from the
Legislative Service Bureau for 11.85 each. The phone number
is 517-373-0170, and I believe the contact person's name is
Sheri Roggow (sp?). They may have dial-in access (sorry for
the uncertainty - I didn't do this part of the project).

The drafts will apparently be worthless when the final
report is issued on May 20th. It will be available from the
          same place.

Nobody who responded knew of an Internet site where these
          were available.

WHAT DOES ALL THIS HAVE TO DO WITH "TAKE OUR DAUGHTERS TO
          WORK"?
This research request came in the evening before Take Our
Daughters to Work Day. The next day we had the pleasure of
the company of two intelligent, sophisticated,
computer-literate young women who were interested in seeing
how we use technology to find information. We had them
search Nexis for articles, and Westlaw EOA to find
associations that might know where to get the drafts. I
showed them a couple of gopher sites, but found nothing
about what we were looking for. WHAT THEY WERE REALLY
INTERESTED IN, however, is how to use a list to ask a
          question; thus, my post.

Many thanks to all who responded, especially Byron Cooper.
