Many thanks to Tory Trotta who gave me part of the answer to the
question I raised concerning the OPM decision on bone marrow
transplants. The answer appears to be that there is no regulation or
order promulgating the OPM decision. They just sent a letter to
their insurance carriers confirming that that was the new policy.
No one has yet come up with any cites to Medicaid or Medicare
provisions for bone marrow transplants for Myeloma. Perhaps there
really is nothing there; but I keep hoping.
