Roger Jacobs is correct with respect to the basis aesthetics of the average
CD-ROM clock. However, you have to look at it from an artist's perspective.
These devices belong to the "post-neo-Russian constructivists" school of art,
and you once you understand that, you can appreciate them for what they
are. (recycled plastic with a 79 cent battery)
For those of you who don't like the post-neo-Russian, etc. thing, let me know
as I can always make up another school.
