Barbara and Penny are dealing with the same problems a
number of us have. How to make the best use of very limited
resources. As I noted in my recent LLJ article, this
library placed the Columbia Law Review on notice two years
ago that we would soon no longer support antiquated Bluebook
citation requirements. The dropping of the parallel cite
requirement was one step along those lines.

The Columbia Law Review wants to know of action we must take
so that future versions of the Bluebook become more
realistic. I am passing on not only our own cancellations
but discussions such as these. I hope colleagues at
Harvard, Yale and Penn plus Chicago are doing the same.
