Law Library Innovative Users Group meeting in San Francisco

I am posting this to both the Innovative and Law-Library discussion
groups and apologize in advance for any duplication.

The time of the annual AALL Innovative Users Group meeting has changed
from last year! We will be meeting on Sat. July 19 from 2-5 at the
hotel in San Francisco (don't know the room). The change in day was
by popular vote of users group members, largely made so as to not
conflict with SIS meetings on Sunday afternoon. The meeting will
include a short presentation from III; Q & A with III staff; and two
sets of break out discussion groups, so people who have multiple
interests or responsibilities can go to more than one.

We are also finalizing plans for an all-day workshop on Thurs. July 23,
geared to experienced III users. This workshop will include training
refreshers from Innovative (on those improvements we had to learn
ourselves and never quite mastered, and/or topics submitted by users
in the fall survey, such as statistics management). There will be
multiple small group sessions and a chance to identify enhancement
features.

If you are interested in helping with discussion groups at either
session and/or have particular topics that you want us to address in
one place or the other, please let me know. Any and all help is
welcome.

Finally, not quite Users Group but related to it, Innovative will be
again sponsoring the TS/OBS/RS SIS reception on Saturday evening in
San Francisco. However, instead of being at the hotel, it will be
held at an art gallery nearby. This will be a gala occasion - hope
to see you there!
