To INT-LAW and LAW-LIB subscribers:
At the San Francisco meeting of the American Association of Law Libraries,
the Working Group on the Teaching of Foreign, Comparative, and International
Legal Research of the Foreign, Comparative and International Law Special
Interest Section (FCIL SIS) met. And I suggested that it would be helpful
for us to maintain a list of what courses are taught where and by whom
related to foreign, comparative and international law and legal research. It
was suggested that I was just the person to compile such a list, so here
goes.
Could any subscriber here who teaches a course, seminar, etc. on a topic
reated to FCI law or legal research please send me their:
Name:
Institution:
Course Name (and dates taught):
Additional information (any extra information you want to provide such as
number of hours, credits, whether exams, essay questions, etc. are used,
textbook, etc.):
You can e-mail, fax, or mail me the information. If you want to send me a
syllabus or reading list, that would be great also. The information provided
will be maintained and updated by the Working Group for the use of those of
us who teach FCIL courses and other interested persons. Sharing the
information will help up improve our course offerings in the area.
If the information is sent to me before January 30, 1993, it can be
summarized in the February 1993 issues of the _FCIL Newsletter_.
Thanks in advance for responding,
Lyonette.
