A former political science professor who died several years ago left his
sizeable book collection to the SIU University Library. Among these materials
were 100 or so law-related items pertaining to Romania, most in the Romanian
language. The faculty member had spent a year or two researching and teaching
in Romania. The Library has decided not to add the materials to their
collection and they really do not fit into our collection development scheme
at the Law Library. Is anyone interested in such a collection? If so, please
contact me and I will direct you to the individuals who can be more specific
about what is available, etc. The Library is prepared to give the materials
away and to ship at their own cost.
