I have just placed ASCII versions of my Internet training
materials on the ftp server at Cornell, to go along with
the WordPerfect versions that have been there for some
time.
(For those of you who don't know, I have a two-part
training document on Internet e-mail (part 1), and
telnet, ftp, gopher, etc. (part 2) that I use here
at the law school. For some time I have made it
available for ftp on the Cornell server, but only in
WordPerfect format. I finally got around to converting
the material to ASCII, for those who prefer that.)
To obtain the documents, ftp to fatty.law.cornell.edu,
login anonymous, cd /pub/Internet. To get the WordPerfect
versions, type "binary", then "get bitintr1.wp" and
"get bitintr2.wp." To get the ASCII versions, you need
not type "binary"; simply type "get bitintr1.txt" and
"get bitintr2.txt."
If anyone uses these documents, I would very much like
to hear your comments and suggestions.
Jim
