I think I lost a line of my memo about the Red Sox Outing at AALL. I
also forgot to add a few things. The Red Sox will be playing the
Seattle Mariners, on the 15th, not the 18th. Ed Edmonds, the Baseball
SIS President-For-Life and I, his humble servant have organized this event.
The $40.00 may seem like a lot, but it includes a dinner of clam chowder,
lobster, etc. in the Diamond Club which is located inside Fenway. The tickets arare the best available for a large group. Most of Fenway is season tickets,
even the better part of the bleachers. Non-season tickets go on sale this Saturday if you are not interested in our outing. Be warned, it is likely that the
game will be sold out by game day - most July and August games are. You can tryand scalp tickets the day of the game but it is illegal to buy or sell tickets
even if sold at face value or less. And the cops are out in force since
the Red Sox organization pays for off duty cops to bust unsuspecting
tourists. If you are trying to buy a ticket they only confiscate the cash
as evidence - but try getting it back! Ya gotta love Boston!
The tickets are in the left field grandstand, actually pretty god seats.
The Red Sox will not be in town the week before the convention but will be
in town for eleven days, starting Thursday the 15th.
You can get very good seats from ticket brokers if you are willing to pay
a hefty premium.
Red Sox Ticket Office: 617-267-8661
P.S. If the Red Sox sign Kirby Puckett expect scalping prices to rise.
P.P.S. Sorry for cluttering up the law lib list with this, but i haven't
insulted anyone or explained how we do it better here :) Play Ball!!
