To National Library Week revelers . . . AALL ups the ante for the 1994
National Library Week celebration by offering a whole slew of law
library-related items for use as giveaways, contest prizes, "good folk
awards", and whatever other clever uses you can devise. Even as this message
wafts out across the electronic skies, a paper communique is making its way to
the head honcho's office of each AALL law library, describing these goodies
and providing a handy order form by which you can acquire these nifty items in
plenty of time for the April shindigs (Reminding you for the umpteenth time:
April 17-23 is National Library Week and the theme is "Libraries Change
Lives"). My own clever ploy in insuring that you check these AALL items out is
to not reveal what they are; you'll have to get the flyer/order form off your
"leader's" desk to find out. If you're the leader, no problem; if you're not
and can't find it under the mess on the desk, still no problem, just call
Steve Serpas at AALL HQ (312/939-4770 x20) and ask for a copy. It will also be
printed in the March issue of the AALL Newsletter but I definitely recommend
getting your order in before then if at all possible.
Remember to support law libraries and librarians during National Library Week.
