I hate to return to the question of excessive student printing on Westlaw
and Lexis standalone laser printers, but we are considering restructuring
our first-year course in such a way that printing might increase. In the
past we trained first year students on Westlaw and Lexis in January. We
are thinking of giving first year students access to Lexsee/Find, Shepard's
and Autocite/Instacite in Oct.in order to alleviate the mad scramble for books.
The tradeoff is we think we are sending the message to students that they
should print entire cases anytime they wish. Has anyone else structured
teaching in this manner? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
