An electronic version of the final report of the Government
Documents SIS Ad Hoc Committee on GPO Restructuring is now
available by email. Send me an email message and I will email
the file to you.
This report, along with the previously posted report from
the Government Relations Committee, will be sent to participants
of the Chicago Conference on the Future of Federal Government
Information in late October.
The members of the Ad Hoc Committee spent considerable time
during AALL's annual meeting in Boston and in the month following
that meeting. Those hard-working members are:

A draft of the report was mailed to the entire membership of the
Government Documents SIS in early August; approximately 70
responses were received from the mailing of over 300.
This report formed the basis for the Government Relations
Committee briefer report to the Chicago Conference. The GRC
greatly appreciates the work of the many GD/SIS members who
drafted and reviewed the draft.
