Subject: Re: Matthew Bender: $929.20 supplement to Moore's Federal Practice
I took the original message on this subject to a faculty meeting Monday
and asked the faculty to reconsider its request to keep Moore's up to date.
They asked what they could use in place of Moore's and we told them
to use Wright and Miller or Federal Procedure Lawyers Edition. They agreed
that a potential price tag of nearly $4,000 a year was far to much. Moore's
is going off the continuous update list again. But my Bender rep has
reaffirmed the fact that their decisions are driven more by what attorneys
do than by what librarian's do. So what do we do to get the word out
to the attorneys?
