Law librarians who will be attending the Chicago Conference on
the Future of Government Information in October are asked to
contact Cheryl Nyberg, chair of the AALL Government Relations
Committee.
If you know a court librarian who is not a law-lib reader,
please pass along this request. We understand that several
court librarians are planning to attend the conference.
The Government Relations Committee and the Government Documents
SIS have prepared reports which describe an acceptable law library
model. The Chicago Conference will be a working meeting for
the design of a restructured Depository Library Program. Susan
Tulis, Assistant Washington Affairs Representative; Sally Holterhoff,
past GRC member and past GD/SIS Chair; Susan Dow, past GD/SIS
chair; and myself, Cheryl Nyberg, current GRC chair and past
GD/SIS chair are planning to attend.
