I goofed! Picture me with head held down in shame :(
Apparently the case I am looking for is _not_ a state
case -- it is supposed to relate to Dr. W.T.G. Morton's
patent on ether anaesthesia -- so, is it a patent case?
The exact information given to me is: Cushings Opinion,
8 Op. 270. As mentioned before, there is no date except
for the around 1860.
Are there any patent experts out there? I have checked
Bieber's for the abbreviation Op. -- not much help. I
have checked several of the Patent treatises -- not much
help there either.
