Texas Wesleyan University and its law school are currently
rewriting their faculty handbooks. We are researching the issues
of faculty status, faculty rank and tenure. We would appreciate
your help in filling out the survey below and sending it back to me
(dermody@class.org).
 
Head of Law Library:
1. Does the Head hold faculty status?
2. Does the Head hold faculty rank?
3. Does the Head have or is working toward tenure?
4. Is faculty status, rank and/or tenure held in the law school,
law librarian faculty, university library faculty, or general
university faculty?
5. Does the Head have a continuing appointment in lieu of tenure?
 
Other Professional Librarians:
6. Does the Librarian hold faculty status?
7. Does the Librarian hold faculty rank?
8. Does the Librarian have or is working toward tenure?
9. Is faculty status, rank and/or tenure held in the law school,
law librarian faculty, university library faculty, or general
university faculty?

Teachers of the Legal Writing Program:
