Reference Sources Sought

If you have created a series of library research guides or pathfinders
for use in your law library and you have them in electronic
format, I would very much appreciate receiving electronic copies.

A library school graduate student is working on a practicum project
that involves the design and creation of a reference database. We
are interested in using information captured by other law libraries
for use in the database.

If you have created a database for providing legal reference and
research assistance, I would be interested in talking with you
about software selection, basic structure, target population,
maintenance considerations, and success of the service.

Regarding the pathfinders, we are most interested in subject-
oriented research guides. For example, how to do legal research
in tax, labor, the environment, securities, UCC. Also of
interest are process-oriented guides: how to compile a
federal legislative history, how to locate current regulations.

Please upload and email such material to me at
c-nyberg@uiuc.edu.

Thanks for your assistance.
