Friends--
I had a call from Wayne Greenberg. He told me that they were very
well aware of the problem and that they were working on both some
short term (signs, etc.) and some long term (technological) fixes for
the problems we have identified.
The signs should be available very
soon and should instruct students how to exit properly so as to avoid
the hang-ups. The technological fixes should be available in the next
few weeks. In the meantime, it is important that we not just talk to
ourselves on the net, but also communicate our concerns to the people
at LEXIS who can do something about it. I think Jim Milles'
offer to compile the concerns and forward them to Wayne on
behalf of us all is the right way to go.
Thanks, Jim.
Bob
