  We sent off a letter of concern to LEXIS a week or so ago. We are
constantly finding terminals with open windows. Students simply have
no idea of how to operate in the Windows environment.

  If we are going to have to move to Windows (I take no position on
whether that's a good idea or not) then we suggested a one year
transition in which we can train the staff and students about how to
operate in the new environment. In the meantime, the system could be
accessed in either mode.
