NewYork State Housing Law

I seem to think that in New York State, housing law requires landlords to
provide tenants with information about their security deposits within 60
days of the move-out date. If the landlord does not notify the tenant
within this period of time, then the landlord must return the entire
security deposit to the tenant.

Does any one know if this is true or where I can find the answer.

Thanks for your help.
