Hello law-libers,
I have placed myself in a rather fun position, combining a
holiday at the end of the year with some work related
issues. I will be traveling to the Cook Islands (Rarotonga)
and while I'm there, I have been contracted to advise the
local gov't/university/national library - I think it's all
one room!, on various Internet configurations for placing
historical Cook Island materials from the USP (University of
the South Pacific) on line using FTP and HTML format as the
protocols.
The technical part of this is the easy part - my question is
has anyone been to Rarotonga? Aside from the Lonely Planet
guide and various sources retrieved from a Veronica search,
there is very little "personalized" info regarding this
seldom-visited pacific island grouping.
If anyone has any information or personal experiences they
would like to share please contact me directly. Thanks so
much.
