RE: Copy of: John Jacobs passing
It was with much sadness that I learned through Mark Mackler's email message of
the recent passing of John Jacobs, a Matthew Bender representative in Northern
California for better than thirty years.
John was a true genleman in every sense of the word. Softspoken and quietly
unassuming it is not surprising to discover only after his death that John , a
retired colonel, was a highly decorated veteran of WWII and Korea receivng two
Bronze Medals and a Silver Star for combat heroism in those conflicts.
My sincere sympathies are extended to John's wife, Jutta. For those who may wish
to send a message to Mrs Jutta Jacobs her address is 12990 Regan Lane, Saratoga,
California 95070.
Thanks to Mark Mackler for his email message that gives me the opportunity to
say these words about John. The world could use a few more people like John
Jacobs. Auf Wiedersehn, John.
