Was anyone else surprised to learn that the Canadian Case Citations 1994
annual supplements (10 soft cover pamphlets) would be $700? This is in
addition to the $515 we pay for quarterly supplements.
We purchased this set last year for $1100 and recieved the 10 vol. bound
set with 1993 supp. pamphlets. Carswell
was unable to tell us at that time the price for the 1994 supps., but we
were given the impression it would be about $200 - $300. Since we
receive the quarterly supps, it is my opinion that the annual supps. are
basically a cumulation of those quarterly supps. and last years supps.
There is very little new information in the annual supps. except for the
information from the last quarter. Am I missing something here? Our
annual updating cost for these citations will be over $1200. (This makes
some of those Shepard's titles look like a bargain.) Does anyone else
think this is unreasonable?
