Was anyone else surprised to find out the 1994 annual supplements (10
softcover pamphlets) to the Canadian Case Citations will be $700 this year?
This is in addition to the $515 for the quarterly supplements. We purchased
this set last year for about $1100 which included 10 bound vols. and the 1993
supplements. At that time Carswell could not give me a price for the
1994 supps., but I was led to believe it would be about $200 to $300
dollars. We subscribe to the quarterly supplements and in my opinion the
annual supplements are basically a cumulation of the 1993 supplements and
the quarterly supplements. The only new information in the annual
supplements is what was added the last quarter. Our annual update cost
for this will be $1215. (This makes Shepard's look like a bargain.)
Is there something here I am missing? Does this sound reasonable?
