We are considering the purchase of catalog records from CIS for the
Congressional Hearings and the CIS Microfiche Library and we were
wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with them.
We've loaded Marcive and OCLC Major Microforms records in the past
and have found them to be very high quality, but are concerned
about CIS and their relative inexperience with MARC formats and
tapeloading in general. We are especially interested in whether or
not any NOTIS libraries have loaded the tapes.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give and I'd be happy to
share the responses if anyone is interested.
