Professor Rick Roe of Georgetown is organizing children's story hours
at the AALS Conference in January, 1994 in Orlando, described below.
He has asked me if I knew of any librarians who would like to
participate as readers, story tellers, or otherwise in these
activities. If you are interested in participating or would like to
know more about the program, please contact Professor Roe. You may

Children's Story Hour, Thursday and Saturday evenings, January 6 and
8, 1994, from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at [location to be announced].
The Section on Teaching Law outside Law Schools is organizing
informal children's story hours for parents and their young children.
Parents and children will meet and read their favorite books with
their children in small circles. Materials will be available to
dramatize some stories, and a wide selection of books will be
available. Please bring your favorite books. Cookies and milk will
