I am interested in finding out about barcoded unbound periodicals.
If your library maintains a Reserve Room-type setup in which
unbound periodicals are kept behind the Circ. Desk, Reserve Desk, or
whatever and are used only in the library for a few hours, would you
please let me know if you barcode them? Also, are they barcoded in
Technical Services before they appear in your area? If so, does
someone delete each individual barcode after the issues are
bound and then barcode the bound volume? Thanks for your input.
