First online wish list was compiled for an American Society of
International Law panel presentation from polling INT-LAW
subscribers--this second wish list are sources since then that I would
love to see available via LEXIS, WESTLAW, or some easily accessible electronic resource:
_EHS Law Bulletin Series_ (Japanese laws in English)
_National Legislation and Regulations Relating to Transnational Corporations_
_Martindale-Hubbell International Law Digest_ (only the directory is online)
_The World of Learning_
_European Commercial Cases_
_Commercial Laws of Europe_
_International Digest of Health Legislation_ (WHO)
_Inter-American Legal Materials_ (ABA)
_Central Eurasia Laws_ (FBIS report)
_Annual Review of Population Law_
_Food and Agricultural Legislation_ (FAO)
_Labour Law Documents_/ _Legislative Series_ (ILO)
_Copyright & Neighboring Rights Laws and Treaties_ (WIPO)
_Industrial Property Laws and Treaties_ (WIPO)
etc.
Most of these sources include English translations or summaries of foreign
legislation, are not cumulatively indexed, and would be used more if
electronic access were possible. Most are published by international
organizations. They are underutilized in hardcopy/print or
their usefulness would be enhanced with electronic search capability
of the full texts or at least the cumulative tables of contents. It
would be great if they were on LEXIS or WESTLAW by my lights. What do others
think?
Wishing...
Lyo.
