Australian Draft Law/Report

A student here needs to get a copy of an Australian draft law currently
being considered by the Australian Parliament, which deals with Aborigine
land rights.

The law was drawn up in response to a high court decision (Mabo v.
Queensland) which came out in 1992.

A Parliamentary committee, possibly called the Hollway ctte, spent 11
months studying the impact of the case, and has released a report on the
subject. If possible, the student would like to get a copy of this too.

I tried Veronica searching for this as well as WESTLAW/LEXIS; the student
called the Australian embassy in Washington D.C., and we both could not
access any copies of the draft law.

Copies are needed this week, so if anyone knows of a place where the
documents can be retrieved over the Internet or faxed, it would be
appreciated. Please reply to my address. Thanks.
