As Albert Brecht notes, the unintended consequences of segregating
the profiles of librarians who teach or who have a faculty appointment from
others, may be to delete the salaries of those individuals from library
salary aggregates, medians and means.
I am at the present moment trying to confirm with the Office of the
ABA Consultant if this perception is correct. It may be that the
programming of data from the new questionnaire may result in the librarian
information being reinserted in aggregate library data.
