(LAW-LIB, EU, EURO-LEX, CYBERIA-L, TEKNOIDS, & ABA-UNIX-LIST lists)
I've updated my list of law-related electronic mailing lists (discussion
groups, news digests, announcements-only lists, e-journals, etc.) called "Law
Lists" through 17 November 1994. It now includes even more background
information about e-mail lists, and has instructions for subscribing
to over 400 lists and 150 Usenet newsgroups. Below is the link info
for accessing the current text and any future updates to the "Law
Lists" at the University of Chicago Law School gopher.
There is also a link to an article published in the University of
Warwick CTI Law Technology Centre's _Law Technology Journal_ that provides
some historical information about the development of law-related mailing
lists. The Law Technology Centre's gopher (and web server at
http://crocus.csv.warwick.ac.uk/WWW/law/default.html) is also a wonderful
resource for accessing archives of UK law-related e-mail lists, the
full text of the _Law Technology Journal_, and general information
about the use of information technology (IT) in legal education. Well
worth the trek! All the best, Lyo.
