I'm not sure that I completely agree with you about this. Even
word-processors still refer to page numbers. This is because they need
to be formatted to correspond to printer settings. This is very
important. Even artificially, electronic information still needs to
refer to print. Somehow, it still represents reality.

I don't think we are close enough to a completely electronic world yet to
give up these references to paper. Maybe someday. But for now, only
electronic discussion groups like this actually exist outside of print.

I agree wholeheartedly with your other comments.
