The next issue of THE CRIV SHEET will be hitting the streets by the
end of the month (as an insert in your November AALL NEWSLETTER).
In addition to the regular columns ("Questions & Answers," "Cost
Saving Tips," "Complaint Summaries"), this issue contains an
interview with three executives of the Bureau of National Affairs,
Inc. In the interview, BNA discusses their recent (Spring 1994)
announcement that they will no longer publish state laws and
regulations as part of their ENVIRONMENT REPORTER; but will now
include this information in the ENVIRONMENT LIBRARY ON CD. The
interview offers readers a unique opportunity to learn how and why
legal publishers make these types of major decisions.
The issue also contains Katherine Hedin's (University of Minnesota)
"Report on the Ad Hoc Working Group on Paper and Binding," as well
as several Seattle meeting summaries written by Ladd Brown (Georgia
State University).
