Here's a hot tip: I just heard that West has been sending
letters to law professors telling them about a proposed new
WESTLAW database of "works in progress"--abstracts of articles
that have been submitted for publication in law journals but that
have not yet been accepted. The idea is that law journal editors
could use the database to identify articles of interest and then
solicit the articles from the authors.
This seems like a valuable resource for researchers, but will law
professors want to deal with lots of phone calls from law journal
editors?
