We are currently developing the menu structure for the
user interface to our CD-ROMS, electronic databases
integrated library management system (DYNIX),
online services and gateways. We feel there
should be standards both in the way the databases are
described (i.e. catalogued) and the way the menus are
structured (i.e. classified). We would be very interested
to hear if there are any we have overlooked in our search
of the literature. Any advice will be very welcome.
