The University of North Carolina Law Library is interested in
identifying position titles that accurately reflect the positions of Head
of Public Services and Head of Technical Services in the information age
of today.
We are particularly interested in position titles which reflect
librarians as middle managers and their changing roles in technology,
information access and instructional services; rather than the traditional
"public services" and "technical services" terminology.
