The Centre for Business Law (CBL) of the University of the Free
State (UOFS) is doing research on behalf of the Co-ordinating Research
Institute for Corporate Law on the desirability of reforming the
South African law of partnership by the introduction of a modern
Partnership Act. We have noted the promulgation of the Revised
Uniform Partnership Act (1994) by the National Conference of
Commissioners on Uniform State Laws for consideration by states.
We would like to know very urgently which states have to date adopted
(or decided to adopt) the Revised Uniform Partnership Act (1994) (or
any of its earlier drafts).
