NEW ALAMEDA COUNTY LAW LIBRARY--UPDATE (5/17/95)
The Alameda County Law Library has begun its long awaited move to
a new site at 125 Twelfth Street in Oakland, California. Due to
continued construction delays, we have had to once again delay
the new library's opening date.
The new tentative opening date is Tuesday, May 23, 1995. (Note: For the
week of May 23, the library strongly recommends that visitors call the
library first to confirm that we are in fact open.) All automated
activities (including the OPAC, CD-ROM's and circulation) will be
unavailable until Monday, May 29, 1995.
Once again we regret any inconvenience. In the meantime, we will continue
to keep you posted as the dates become more definite. Rest assured, our
beautiful new library will be worth the wait!
