     I am happy to announce the results of this year's election of officers of
the Automation and Scientific Development SIS:

Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect for 1995/1996: James Milles
Secretary/Treasurer (Three-year term): Cindy Chick

     Please join me in congratulating our new officers. I also wish to thank
everyone who ran for office this year; an excellent slate of candidates
answered Mark Folsmbee's call for volunteers to serve the SIS.
     I also want to especially thank Secretary/Treasurer Jo Ann Humphreys for
conducting this election and for doing an outstanding job for the last three
years.
