I am posting this for Wes Cochran, who is presently out of town but wanted this
information on LAW-LIB as soon as possible.

The AALL Summer Institute, "Leadership and Management Skills," scheduled for
July 5-9 at Western New England College School of Law (Springfield, MA), has
been canceled.
Probably due to the late mailing of AALL Annual Meeting registration packets,
members must have thought that they could not make the original April 30
registration deadline. Therefore, the minimum number of registrants needed to
hold the Institute did not materialize.
Wes, Betty Kern, and Don Dunn (co-directors of the Institute) had a great time
planned for all and regret that this action must be taken. For those who had
planned to attend, Wes expresses his thanks for your interest and his regrets
for the inconvience.
