It's only a matter of time before most law school libraries move beyond single
user CD-ROM workstations to networking their CD-ROMs. Once you move to a
networked environment, leasing a workstation will no longer be an issue, because
you'll want multi-purpose workstations for accessing a wide range of CD-ROMs and
other information resources. As for Information Access Corp., the network
license for LegalTrac is about the same as a single user license plus the annual
workstation lease cost.
