Thank you to all who responded about Barclays being purchased by
Bancroft-Whitney and becoming part of the Thompson Publishing Group.
Thanks especially to the person who posted the press release which
indicated many things, including that the 57 employees retained their
jobs. Interesting that the three people I was looking for were no
longer with the company. I would suggest that anyone with these
Administrative Code products, especially for Illinois and California,
look at their initial order agreement and see if these Master Indexes
were included. From the responses I received, it appears that this is a
regular practice for Barclays to solicit orders for $300 indexes that
people have already paid for.
