I have now received a copy of the AALL March 1, 1995 Citation Report. It
can be found at pages 240-264 of the Appendix to the West Brief filed
before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
I also understand now that after Reed (which had a member through
Butterworth) acquired Lexis (which also had a member), West screamed that
it was unfair for Reed to have two members on the committee, so the
committee permitted West to have an additional member on the Committee.
This is what I meant by terrorizing by West.
What is real funny, is that Butterworth had a deal with West as well and
was viewed by some as a "West" rep, prior to the acquisiton.
