Types of Projects:

No restrictions. Examples include: development of new courses or
enhancement of existing courses; campus symposia; faculty seminars;
student forums; experiential learning programs, etc. We encourage
projects that use interdisciplinary approaches, integrate legal themes
into general education, enhance global or multi-cultural perspectives,
promote active and cooperative learning strategies in the classroom,
and/or link the curriculum with campus life.

Amount of Awards:

Up to $1,500. Indirect costs will not be paid.

Grant Period:

July 1, 1995 - June 30, 1996

2-year and 4-year colleges and universities. We encourage
applications from two or more faculty of different disciplines.

Application:

Submit a brief (maximum 3 pages) narrative proposal describing:

i. need for the project proposed;
ii. law-related themes/topics to be addressed;
iii. general plan and steps to implement the project;
iv. criteria for success, including how the project's benefits might
     be extended to other campuses;
v. one page budget.

Include also a c.v. for the project director(s), as well as a cover
page identifying the institution, project director(s) and departmental
affiliation(s), title of project and a brief (100-word) abstract.
