Many, many thanks to all who responded to my Nittany Lions question. (I
even received two responses via long distance phone!) I learned all
about Mount Nittany, named after princess Nit-A-Nee, who loved a trapper
whose ghost still roams the area, calling her name. . . And who says
cyberspace isn't poetical? To say nothing of the local "mountain lions"
(actually bobcats?) who once inhabited the region (and some say still do).
